Liverpool Midfielder Ryan Gravenberch Signs New Long-Term Contract Until 2032

Ryan Gravenberch has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool F.C. that will keep the Dutch midfielder at Anfield until 2032, strengthening the club’s commitment to one of its key midfield players.

The 23-year-old extended his stay with the Premier League champions after establishing himself as an important figure in Liverpool’s midfield since joining the club in 2023.

Liverpool Reward Midfield Star with New Deal

Gravenberch originally joined Liverpool from FC Bayern Munich in a deal worth about £34.2 million in 2023. His previous contract was scheduled to run until 2028, but the club has now extended it by four additional years to secure his long-term future.

Since arriving at Anfield, the Dutch international has made more than 120 appearances across all competitions, becoming a regular presence in the team’s midfield rotation.

The club confirmed the agreement through its official channels, expressing satisfaction at securing the midfielder’s services for the foreseeable future.

Key Role in Liverpool’s Title-Winning Campaign

Gravenberch played a significant role in Liverpool’s recent success in the Premier League. During the club’s championship-winning season, he featured in almost every league match, starting in all but one game.

Across all competitions that season, the midfielder appeared in 36 matches and scored 10 goals, helping the team maintain its strong performances domestically and in Europe.

His consistent displays also earned him recognition among the league’s top performers, further highlighting his importance to the squad.

Player Sets Sights on More Trophies

Speaking after signing the new contract, Gravenberch expressed his ambition to continue achieving success with Liverpool.

He said his immediate goal is to finish the current season strongly while focusing on winning more trophies with the club in the coming years.

The midfielder’s long-term extension reflects Liverpool’s belief in his development and the role he could play during the club’s next competitive cycle.

Strengthening Liverpool’s Future Core

By tying Gravenberch to a contract until 2032, Liverpool is securing a key part of its evolving midfield core.

The deal also signals the club’s strategy of retaining young players who can contribute to sustained success over the next decade.

With several midfield talents already in the squad, Liverpool appears to be building a stable foundation aimed at maintaining its competitiveness in both domestic and European competitions.
