Ecobank Nigeria Hosts Second Edition of Design and Build

Ecobank Nigeria, a subsidiary of the pan African banking group, is preparing to host the second edition of its flagship Design and Build showcase. The event will run from September 24 to 28, 2025, at the Ecobank Pan African Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos. It will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Themed How We Build, How We Live, the five day showcase promises to bring together innovators who are shaping the future of design, construction, and real estate in Nigeria.

A Curated Celebration of Innovation

This year’s edition will feature just over 40 exhibitors. Each participant has been carefully selected to ensure quality over quantity. The goal is to deliver a rich, meaningful experience for every attendee.

According to Omoboye Odu, Head of SMEs at Ecobank Nigeria, Design and Build is more than an exhibition.

“Design and Build is a celebration of visionaries shaping Nigeria’s future. By showcasing quality talent and innovation, we are connecting creators with opportunities that go beyond structures, into building purpose and better living,” she said.

She also noted that the initiative reflects Ecobank’s mission to deepen financial inclusion, empower entrepreneurs, and connect local businesses with international markets.

A Vision for the Future

The curator of Design and Build 2025, Titi Fowora, Principal Interior Designer at Inu Designs, explained the thought behind this year’s approach.

“This edition is intentionally curated. It is about presenting not just more, but the very best. People, ideas, and innovations that inspire us to rethink how we live and build. From heritage craftsmanship to future forward solutions, Design and Build is a living canvas of transformation,” she said.
