Fidelity Bank Reopens International Transactions on Naira Debit Cards

Fidelity Bank Expands Customer Reach Globally

Fidelity Bank Plc has reopened international transactions on its Naira Debit Cards. The development gives customers renewed freedom to pay seamlessly abroad, online, and at ATMs outside Nigeria.

Announcing the move, Ifeoma Onibuje, Divisional Head of eBanking at Fidelity Bank, highlighted the benefit to customers. “We are delighted to inform the public that Fidelity Naira Cards are now enabled for global use. This means our travelling customers can now shop, spend, and withdraw abroad without hassles,” she said.

Limits on International Spending

With the resumption, Fidelity Bank customers can now spend up to $1,000 quarterly on international POS and online platforms. They can also withdraw up to $500 quarterly from international ATMs. These limits apply exclusively to Naira Debit Cards and provide an additional payment option alongside the Bank’s foreign currency cards.

Premium Benefits for Fidelity Cardholders

The reactivation extends beyond basic payments. Fidelity VISA cardholders, one of the variants in the Bank’s card suite, enjoy premium lifestyle perks. These include airport lounge and spa access via the Visa Airport Companion App, fast track immigration lanes, and discounts of up to 20 percent on SIXT car rentals worldwide.

Seamless Application Process

The bank has simplified the process of getting a Naira card. Customers can apply directly through the Fidelity Mobile App or walk into any Fidelity branch. Once issued, they can begin using their cards globally without unnecessary delays. The convenience reflects Fidelity Bank’s deliberate focus on customer satisfaction.

Reinforcing Fidelity Bank’s Commitment

This update reinforces Fidelity Bank’s strategy of offering innovative and reliable solutions that align with customer lifestyles. By enabling global access, the Bank shows its resolve to remain a trusted partner for personal and business banking needs.

Ranked among Nigeria’s best performing financial institutions, Fidelity Bank Plc serves over 9.1 million customers. Its reach spans 255 business offices across Nigeria and a UK subsidiary, FidBank UK Limited.
