LOMA 2025 Awards Night Lights Up Lagos With Glamour and Industry Excellence
Lagos witnessed a night of glamour, recognition, and industry pride as the Location Marketing Awards (LOMA) 2025 came to a sparkling close with its much-anticipated awards night. The event, held at Marcellina’s Place in GRA Ikeja, was the crown jewel of the two-day celebration, bringing together leaders and rising stars across the advertising, marketing, and out-of-home (OOH) ecosystem.
A Celebration of Creativity and Industry Spirit
From the moment guests walked into the venue, it was clear that this was not just an awards night. It was a cultural showcase of innovation, camaraderie, and storytelling power in the marketing industry. Delegates from within Nigeria and across borders were treated to a night of entertainment, networking, and recognition of outstanding achievements.
In his welcome address, Kingsley Onwukaeme, the convener of LOMA, reaffirmed the values at the heart of the awards. He described LOMA as one of the most rigorous and transparent recognition platforms on the continent. According to him, fairness in judging has elevated the awards into a benchmark of excellence.
Onwukaeme also reminded the audience of the need to own and amplify their stories. “Your life is a blank canvas. Whatever you put on it is what the world will see,” he said. He urged agencies, professionals, and creators to document their processes and results, no matter how small, because storytelling is as critical as execution. He added with a touch of humor, “This is not a night for unnecessary comparison. Let us celebrate ourselves because YOU SEF DON TRY.”
