Excitement filled the air on Monday as Globacom rewarded several Nigerians with cash prizes in its Jolly Product Cash Awards. The ceremonies were held simultaneously in different cities, drawing winners from across the country in categories such as Jolly Life lottery, Jolly Wheel, Jolly Win, and Jolly Trivia.
The highlight of the day came when 69-year-old technician, Sunday Efenure from Edo State, received the star prize of ₦1 million through the Jolly Wheel promo. Collecting his cheque in Lagos, Efenure admitted he almost ignored the message about his win.
“With the rate of scams in the country, I didn’t believe it at first. My wife encouraged me, and I even sent my son to verify before I decided to attend. I thank Glo for this life-changing gift,” he said with joy.

In Ibadan, Oyo State, 39-year-old Taiwo Oni won ₦500,000 through the Jolly Life promo. His twin brother, Kehinde, captured the mood with a joyful exclamation in Yoruba: “E chop am o!” The celebration inspired him to purchase a Glo SIM card, determined to try his luck in the next draw.
Another ₦500,000 prize went to Esther Clifford in Abuja through Jolly Win. The wave of winnings continued in Warri, Delta State, where Christopher Onajobhe walked away with ₦200,000. In Nasarawa, Denem Usman Maji was celebrated as another winner, while Godwin Udanna from Onitsha, Anambra State, and Ijeoma Anogwa from Enugu each claimed prizes ranging between ₦100,000 and ₦200,000 under the Jolly Wheel category.

At the Lagos ceremony, Mr. Mojeed Aluko of Globacom’s Value Added Services Department congratulated the winners and urged more Nigerians to take part in the ongoing promos.
