Global online gaming and sports betting giant Betano has officially been announced as the sponsor of the upcoming Lagos Campus Beach Soccer Tournament, reinforcing its commitment to grassroots sports development in Nigeria.
The tournament, set to take place on June 28–29, 2025, at Elegushi Beach, Lagos, will bring together top tertiary institutions across the state for a high-energy beach soccer showdown. Organised by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Grassroots Sports Development in partnership with BrandEscort Communications, the competition aims to provide a platform for young athletes to hone their skills while promoting beach soccer culture in Nigeria.
Speaking on the sponsorship, David Segunmaru, Retail Country Manager at Betano, expressed the company’s enthusiasm for the initiative.
