MTN Media Innovation Program (MIP) 2025 Opens Applications for 4th Cohort

The MTN Media Innovation Program (MIP) is back for its 4th cohort, offering Nigerian journalists and media practitioners a transformative learning experience. The six-week training, fully sponsored by MTN Nigeria, will run from May 19 to October 24, 2025, equipping 20 selected participants with the skills needed to navigate the evolving media and technology terrain.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a media practitioner or content creator.
  • Must have a valid international passport.
  • Must pass a written test and any required interviews.
  • Must provide a written release from their employer to participate.

MIP 2025 is a mix of classroom sessions, field visits, and international exposure, designed to give participants practical industry insights.

  • 70+ Class Sessions on media and ICT
  • 19 Days of on-campus learning at Pan-Atlantic University (PAU)
  • 7 Days in South Africa (University of Johannesburg & MTN HQ)
  • 2 Days at MTN Nigeria offices for hands-on experience
  • 1 Day at an Innovation Hub
  • 1 Day in nature for creative inspiration
  • Comprehensive capstone project
