Chef T Becomes Brand Ambassador for CWAY Water in Strategic 25th Anniversary Collaboration

In a move that blends trust, nostalgia, and digital influence, CWAY Water Nigeria has officially unveiled Chef Tolani Tayo-Osikoya, better known as Chef T and the creative force behind Diary of A Kitchen Lover, as its new Brand Ambassador.
The signing ceremony, held at CWAY’s Lagos corporate headquarters, marked the culmination of a partnership more than a year in the making, a collaboration rooted in authenticity and amplified by shared values.

From Freelance to Family
According to Mr. Rohit Gupta, Marketing Director of CWAY Group, the brand’s relationship with Chef T began informally but quickly evolved into something deeper:
“What we discovered was how much value she adds to our brand image. This collaboration is special both CWAY and Chef T are strong brands. It just made sense to take it further.”
A Brand Built on Trust and Taste
Chef T is no stranger to Nigerian households. Her food content empire, Diary of A Kitchen Lover, started as a modest kitchen diary and has since grown into a leading culinary lifestyle platform, followed by millions. She’s beloved for her clean, high-quality recipe content, product authenticity, and knack for turning everyday meals into aspirational moments. With an audience that cuts across young adults, families, and working professionals, Chef T’s brand is built on relatability, consistency, and credibility.

In her heartfelt remarks, Chef T traced her connection with CWAY back to 2006:
“I remember the first CWAY dispenser my dad bought. We still have it. Before CWAY ever reached out to me, I had already made viral videos using their product. This isn’t just a brand endorsement; it’s personal.”
More Than Just a Face, A Force
Mr. Abiodun Sulaymon, Assistant General Manager, Sales, and Mr. Tosin Adewusi, Brand Manager for CWAY Refill and Dispenser, both emphasised the strategic alignment: Chef T’s digital influence isn’t only about numbers; it’s about community, connection, and conversion. She represents a new generation of brand ambassadors, those who live the brand story long before the cameras roll.
“Her influence and authenticity align perfectly with our values of quality, trust, and wellness,” said Mr. Adewusi.
As CWAY marks its 25th anniversary, this partnership with Chef T signals more than a marketing move; it reflects the brand’s evolving identity: rooted in tradition, yet forward-looking and culturally attuned.

In closing, Mr. Funso Elubelu, Assistant GM of Marketing, thanked both teams and looked forward to upcoming campaigns that would celebrate Nigerian kitchens, wellness culture, and the joy of everyday moments.
