Parallex Bank has rewarded 154 customers in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with cash prizes, airtime, and other gifts in its ongoing Save and Win promo, aimed at encouraging a savings culture among Nigerians.
The highlight of the event was Idara Amos Attai, a trader who won the grand prize of ₦1 million. In total, the bank disbursed ₦3.65 million during the live draw held in Uyo on Thursday.

50 customers receiving ₦5,000 airtime
50 customers winning ₦10,000 cash
30 customers getting ₦20,000 each
20 customers claiming ₦50,000 each
Three customers walking away with ₦100,000 each
Speaking at the event, Maryanne Cephas, Uyo Branch Manager of Parallex Bank, reiterated the bank’s commitment to rewarding and empowering its customers.
“Parallex Bank is here to appreciate our loyal customers. Our interest rates are very attractive, and we support both small and large businesses,” she said.
Cephas encouraged customers to introduce others to the bank, emphasising that Parallex Bank remains focused on business growth and financial inclusion.
Abdulazeez Arogundade, Parallex Bank’s Head of Products, outlined the promo’s structure, stating that it is designed to reward customer loyalty, especially in tough economic times.
“This initiative is our way of giving back to those who trust us with their savings. The promo, which began in October 2024, will run until April 2025, with two more major draws in Abuja and Lagos. Customers who save at least ₦10,000 monthly qualify for the draws,” he explained.
Uchegbu Chukwuma, a representative of the National Lottery Regulatory Commission, praised Parallex Bank for its transparency in conducting the draws, assuring participants of a fair process.
Meanwhile, the grand prize winner, Idara Amos Attai, expressed gratitude for her unexpected win.
“This is the Lord’s doing, and I am grateful. Parallex Bank has truly kept its promise, and I believe this promo will attract more people to the bank,” she said.
Beyond the raffle, over 20 additional participants won gift items through an engaging quiz session, adding to the excitement.
